| Hi, I'm Jim Gellerman, owner of Digital
Restoring. We hope to offer you the best in photo restoration and
retouching services.
In my 25 years in the photographic industry, I've seen some
amazing changes. We've gone from traditional photography, which includes
E-6, C-41 B&W and Color processing, duplicate transparencies and
copy negatives, to digital photography and retouching. Although
the basics remain the same, and nothing can replace the eye of a trained
photo technician, digital photography technologies are offer a wide
variety of opportunity in the photo field.

I've been Photographer, Darkroom Technician,
Color Printer, Photo Retoucher, Customer Service Rep and
a Forox Photographer. I work with traditional photographic equipment,
as well as Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark and Corel.
While working at the companies listed
above and also, as a freelancer, I've created magazine ads for restaurants,
printed custom wedding portraits, photographically archived hundreds
of drawings for Tiffany's, been used as a cover model for magazine studio
shoots, digitally retouched family pictures for clients and have made
backstage passes for major area concerts.
As you can see, I'm well rounded
in the photographic industry and work with private individuals and large
companies.
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from
the School of Visual Arts and took advanced Computer Training from the
Milo School of Computer Graphics.
