One of the more
challenging photos. While this photo had been kept framed and under
glass, it had begun to show "age stress." Little flakes were coming off,
and it had begun to mildew.
The first challenge was to remove it from the frame without damaging
further, then to clean the original photo prior to scanning. Once it was
scanned, we cleaned it up further in PhotoShop and reproduced the
missing pieces. We sharpened the contrast and color. And then we printed
a new 36" by 7" print.
